The International Conference on Minority Languages 2027 will take place in the city of Bozen/Bolzano/Bulsan in the headquarters building of Eurac Research, Drususallee/Viale Druso/Alea Drusus 1. Eurac Research can be reached from the old town or the train station in 10-15 minutes by foot. Alternatively, there is a bus stop directly in front of the entrance (bus stop ‘Eurac Research’) and it is possible to arrive by public transport.

Because of its geographical location, Bolzano/Bozen is one of the most important trade centers in the Alpine region. It can be reached by a variety of transport options.

Train connections with major cities north and south of the Alps
The Brenner railway ensures fast and frequent connections with all major cities both north and south of the Alps, thanks to EuroCity, high-speed, regional and even night trains. Amongst others, there are direct connections to and from Munich, Innsbruck, Vienna, Milan, Rome and Bologna.
The Bolzano/Bozen train station is located in the town center, approximately a ten-minute walk from the headquarters of Eurac Research and from the main hotels.

Fly to South Tyrol
South Tyrol’s Bozen Dolomiten regional airport is located on the southern outskirts of the capital.
Sky Alps offers regular scheduled flights from German cities such as Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg, Stuttgart as well as from Antwerp and Copenhagen to Bolzano/Bozen and return. The SASA city lines 10A and 10B run at regular intervals between Bolzano Airport and the town center, as well as the bus and railway stations in Bolzano.
Taxi stands are located directly in front of the Bolzano railway station as well as at the airport terminal. The transfer from the railway station to the airport takes about 15 minutes.
The next closest airports are Verona and Venice to the south and Innsbruck to the north. Additional airports in the area include: Munich, Treviso, Bergamo, Bologna and Milan.
