Call for Papers for ICML 2027 now open
The Call for Papers for the XXI International Conference on Minority Languages (ICML 2027) is now open.

ICML 2027 welcomes proposals addressing one or more of the official conference themes:
Linguistic vitality and minority languages
Education in and for minority languages
Media and minority languages
Language policy and legislation in the context of autonomy and minority rights
Minority languages and social/linguistic (in)justice
Contested languages
Minority languages in the age of artificial intelligence and new technologies
Submissions are invited in four formats:
individual papers,
pre-constituted panels,
posters,
and practitioner experience dialogues.
The submission deadline is 7 September 2026 (23:59 CEST). Notification of acceptance will be sent in early November 2026.
The conference will take place from 22 to 26 June 2027 in Bozen/Bolzano/Bulsan (South Tyrol, Italy) and is organised by Eurac Research, namely by the Center for Autonomy Experience, the Institute for Minority Rights and the Institute for Applied Linguistics.
